Optimist

I was born an optimist.
I was born believing that most people are good, That bad days were just there to cleanse my pallet for the good days ahead.
No matter how hopeless a situation seems, a happy ending is sure to be at the end of it all.
The desire to be happy has always been the thing that moves me forward.
I will not let that optimism die.
I will not retire my smile.
I will continue to believe that most humans are good.
I will continue to believe that good days are ahead of us.
I will always believe that God has a plan for us, and that the plan he has, is good. And I will pray that Hashem shows me that being an optimist isn’t the same as being a fool.
