I remain a child
I remain a child
$1,800.00
This painting was just an image I had in my mind. It wasn’t supposed to be a deep painting. Just a little girl, eating an apple in honor of Tu Bishvat.
As I was painting her, she started to look more and more like me. I started identifying with her in a way I didn’t see coming.
No, I am not a little girl. The things that were a mystery to me as a child are just a part of life now. But in many ways,
I remain a child.
In many ways we all do.
The answers we obtained in adulthood, only opened a Pandora’s box of infinite questions.
So here’s a painting with no strong words, No moral, just a child, wide eyed and clueless to the world, in the same way that we all truly are.
