It depends on the day

It depends on the day

My favorite color is blue. Well, sometimes it’s red, depending on the day.
I grew up in a chassidish community.
It was beautiful!
It was horrible!
I guess it depends on the day.
That lifestyle wasn’t for me.
I also don’t love the color yellow.
Do I judge people for loving yellow?
Do people judge me for loving red?
We’re all people.
Our differences may seem so vast, but at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to live as our best selves.
That person that looks so different than you, he’s shopping for produce too.
He might use those carrots to make a salad just like yours.
He might be making a soup. I guess it depends on the day. Thank you @eliwohlphoto for generously allowing me to use your photo as a reference!!

The children are content in their father’s arms. They have their treats and are happy to be part of the excitement. The men say a prayer on their behalf. After all, they are just babies, Incapable of prayer just yet. I watch the kids from the women’s side, So innocent and carefree. How absolutely adorable they are collectively! I look at the adults surrounding me. We look sure and in charge. Yet even the oldest among us, are as powerless as the baby in its mother’s womb. I smile at the scene before me, But the view from my heart is different than my eyes. All I see,is a room full of children, praying for their father to protect them and take them home.
